The Gate510's Rich History
Built in the early 1950's, the Gate510 building originally served as a Plymouth automobile manufacturing plant. It was then sold in the 1970's to the Caterpillar tractor company who produced there until the building was sold again and transformed into a retail shopping center in the late 1980's.
Over the next 30 years, the second floor was primarily utilized as raw warehouse and storage space before being converted to its current use.
Today, in connection with the 1GBPS fiber optic internet that was installed in 2014, Gate510 offers tenants an innovative hub for tech and artisanal entrepreneurs, makers, creators and visionaries to collaborate, invent, work and manufacture.
